The 2026 Honda Prologue carries over unchanged from the previous model year but adds enhanced home-charging packages, along with the previously optional portable charging kit now included as standard equipment.
Buyers can choose either a USD 500 direct sales credit if they opt not to have a charging solution installed, or a complimentary home charging station with a USD 1,250 installation credit (up from USD 500) and an extended home-charging station service warranty if they select Honda’s home electrification option.
We recently spent some time checking out all of the 2026 Honda Prologue’s ins and outs in the Pacific Blue Metallic Elite AWD trim, and here are our observations.
Design

There are no exterior changes for the 2026 model year. At the front, the Honda Prologue continues with its wide stance and horizontal styling elements, including the headlamps and a wide faux grille, giving it a sedan-like look. Viewed from the side, the short overhangs and proportionally lengthy wheelbase hint at its impressive space efficiency, while still recognizable as a Honda.
Wheel options include 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels as standard on EX and Touring trims, with a gloss-black finish available for an additional USD 1,900, while the Elite trim receives exclusive 21-inch wheels as standard.
At the rear, the wide design theme continues with a silver skid plate-like trim piece, and wide taillights connected by a gloss-black trim panel featuring Honda lettering, which is unique to this Honda in the U.S. lineup.
Interior

There are no changes in the features for the 2026 model year. The cabin layout remains familiar for the 2026 model year, featuring a horizontal dashboard design with an 11-inch digital instrument cluster and an 11.3-inch touchscreen for infotainment as standard across all trims. The Elite trim adds a useful head-up display.
Unlike other General Motors platform EVs that the Prologue is related to, Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility remain standard, along with a Qi wireless phone charger and Google built-in, providing integrated navigation, voice assistance, and app access without requiring a paired smartphone.

Seating includes a 10-way power-adjustable driver seat with lumbar support and heated front seats across the lineup. Dual-zone automatic climate control and SiriusXM satellite radio are also standard on all trims.
Specifications

All 2026 Honda Prologue models use the same 85-kWh lithium-ion battery. Single-motor, FWD versions deliver an EPA-estimated range of 308 miles on a full charge, while dual-motor, AWD models achieve EPA-estimated ranges of 294 miles for EX and Touring trims and 283 miles for the Elite trim.
Prologue FWD models produce 220 horsepower and 243 lb-ft of torque, while AWD models increase output to 300 horsepower and 355 lb-ft of torque. Max towing capacity is 1,500 lbs.
DC fast charging is supported at rates of up to 150 kW. Under ideal conditions, the Prologue can add approximately 65 miles of range in about 10 minutes. It doesn’t come with a native NACS port, but Honda offers a NACS-CCS adapter for an additional USD 225.
All trims include 60-kWh of complimentary charging through Electrify America. Charging management and station access are managed via the HondaLink smartphone app.
