GAA Classic Winter Auction 2025

It is Prime Time Saturday here at the GAA Classic Winter Auction 2025 and the buyers are active. The sea of cars here is endless. So much to see. Most important, cars are selling today. From restomod customs to classic muscle cars, there was something for everyone here in The Automobile Palace in Greensboro, North Carolina on Saturday.

Ford GTs

It was no surprise that the top sale here at the GAA Classic Winter Auction 2025 was the Mark IV Red 2006 Ford GT that came up in a very special sale about midway through the auction docket on Saturday. In a new twist on the traditional auction format, three Ford GT exotic sports cars crossed the auction block together at the GAA Classic. It was billed as the Bidder’s Choice sale. The way it was explained is, the highest bidder could choose which of the three special Ford GT’s he or she went home with today. The other two will remain with the consignor. The white 2006 Ford GT has only 13 actual miles from new.  Both the red 2006 Ford GT and the Tungsten Silver 2006 Ford GT have just over 800 miles each. The Ford GT Trifecta were all three on the auction block together as the bidding progressed. The high bid was a phone bidder at $515,000. He chose the Mark IV Red 2006 Ford GT.

But the consignor relented and allowed another bidder to buy the Tungsten Silver 2006 Ford GT as well. According to the auction results, the silver car sold for $500,000.

And here are some of the top sales from Saturday.

Cars-On-Line.com is reporting the action here from the GAA Classic Winter Auction 2025 at The Automobile Palace in Greensboro, North Carolina.  This is where they hold the GAA Classic Auction three times a year. These are the “bread and butter” classics and muscle cars that we all love, and when they sell you want to know the prices. That’s how you measure the health of the collector car market. This is where we expect to see how pricing on collector cars will fare in the upcoming spring collector car market.
