We saw some of the best cars in the country cross the auction block today at the Raleigh Classic Winter Auction in Youngsville, North Carolina. The lineup of low miles Cadillacs was simply stunning. And there were more than enough vintage classics and muscle cars to replenish some of the top collections in the country. It was a fitting end to the car show season for 2024. We felt we had seen some of the best cars this country has to offer.
Saturday was the final day of the last big car auction of the 2024 car show season. A select group of avid car collectors were concentrating on finding fresh vehicles for their collections. Buyers from all over the Southeastern U.S. were poised for the action here on this closing Saturday. Even more were manning their phones or internet screens back home to focus on the bevy of important collector vehicles that would sell today at the Capital Auto Auction facility in Youngsville, just north of Raleigh.

Michael Leith, the founder of the Raleigh Classic Auctions, said the selection this weekend is one of the best they’ve had. He said there were more cars being offered at No Reserve than they have ever seen here before. The selection of vintage classics, 1950’s classics and classic muscle cars is scintillating.
This is where some of the best collectors from the Southeast come to freshen their collections. A lot of great cars are going to new homes. Sellers are also buyers as they always say here. This is one of the most interesting auctions in the country. It is famous for bringing low miles collector cars to market. There is not other sale in the country that has the quality of cars, and has so many low miles cars every year. We can’t figure out how they do it.
