Saturday was Prime Time here at the Raleigh Classic Spring Auction 2024 in Youngsville, North Carolina. This historic two-day sale started on Friday, May 31 and came to a conclusion today, June 1, 2024. As the bidding came to a close this afternoon, we were witnessing a “page turning” in automotive history. We saw a collection of top classic 1950’s Fords cross the auction floor here early in the auction. Then a bevy of classic muscle cars took the attention of bidders.

The selection of classic 1950’s cars was scintillating. We spotted a number of really rare choices in the preview lot. Here is a quick look at the cars and truck we were interested in as we looked through the offerings here in Youngsville for the Saturday sale.
As always, there were be some choice muscle cars changing hands here today. This is where some of the best collectors from the Southeast come to freshen their collections. A lot of great cars are going to new homes. Sellers are also buyers as they always say here. This is one of the most interesting auctions in the country.

The weather will be mildly pleasant with a little humidity as always. All in all, it was a good day for late spring in the Raleigh area. Most people in Raleigh today will be busy about their Saturday morning. But a select group of avid car collectors were concentrating on finding fresh vehicles for their collections as the Raleigh Classic entering its final day here.
