The 2026 Ram 1500 Rebel X is back bringing exclusive off-road technology, added comfort features and aggressive styling to the Rebel nameplate.
Offered as an upgrade package to the Ram 1500 Rebel with the Level 2 Equipment Group, Rebel X aims to deliver more content for the money while enhancing capability.
“The Rebel X was a customer favorite last year, so we’re bringing it back for more,” said Tim Kuniskis, Head of American Brands, SRT Performance, North America Marketing and Retail Strategy. He described the truck as hitting “the sweet spot of advanced tech, interior comfort and true off-road capability.”
Performance: Hurricane Power and Trail-Ready Hardware
At the heart of the Rebel X is the 3.0L SO Hurricane Twin Turbo I-6, producing 420 horsepower and 469 lb.-ft. of torque. The engine is paired with a console-mounted leather-wrapped performance shifter and steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters for a more engaged driving experience.
Standard off-road hardware includes:
- 1-inch suspension lift
- Bilstein front and rear monotube shocks
- Electronic locking rear differential (E-locker)
- Underbody skid plates
- Front tow hooks
- Black 18-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires
Exclusive Tech: Rough Road Cruise Control
The Rebel X stands apart with Rough Road Cruise Control, a system offered exclusively on this trim.
The technology automatically adjusts adaptive speed control and steering weight based on terrain conditions while maintaining a steady off-road speed of up to 20 mph. The goal is to reduce driver workload, allowing better focus on wheel placement and obstacles during technical trail driving.
Ram positions it as a capability enhancer rather than a gimmick — designed to improve control in low-speed off-road situations.

Interior Upgrades: Comfort Meets Attitude
Building on the Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group, Rebel X adds:
- Dual-pane panoramic sunroof
- Premium leather/vinyl bucket seats with red accent stitching
- Red-accented glass-encased “Rebel X” center console badge
- “Rebel X” bedside graphics
Technology and convenience features include:
- 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster
- 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen
- 10.25-inch front passenger interactive display
- Dual wireless charging pads
- 19-speaker Harman Kardon audio system
- Heated and ventilated front seats
- Heated rear seats and heated leather steering wheel
The package blends upscale comfort with bold styling cues designed to reinforce the truck’s off-road identity.
