Ford Racing Parts is making it easier for gearheads to add power by offering a F-150 5.0L V8 Supercharger kit pushing the truck to 700 horsepower and its under warranty too.

Factory-Backed Horsepower for the 2026 F-150

Ford Racing Parts has teamed up with Whipple Superchargers to bring increased horsepower and torque to the F-150 equipped with the 5.0L Coyote V8. With a claimed 700 horsepower and 590 lb.-ft of torque in the F-150, this supercharged truck will rival most sports cars for power. This same kit is also available on the Mustang, where it is quoted as having as much as 810 horsepower and 615 lb.-ft of torque.

Turn-Key or DIY, Your Choice

This kit comes as a dealer-installed option on the purchase of a new Coyote-powered F-150. Or, for those who wish to roll up their sleeves, this kit can be installed by the customer with a detailed 69-page instruction manual. However, the list price on the Ford Racing Parts site is a staggering $10,500.

Torture Tested and Built To Last

For Ford to sign off on such an upgrade to receive a 3-year and 36,000-mile warranty, the engineers have torture-tested these parts to meet the brand’s 100,000-mile durability standard. Ford says, “By offering factory-backed, warranty-friendly performance upgrades from day one, Ford gives customers the power and peace of mind to take an already incredible vehicle and truly make it their own.” Through Ford Racing Parts and the rest of the Ford family, the company is expanding the ways customers can personalize their vehicle’s looks, performance, and capability while still maintaining the durability consumers expect.

Street Truck Finally Gets the Power Bump It Needs

I have shown you the new F-150 Lobo Street Truck that Ford began selling as a 2025 model. I noted how its relatively low price was thanks to the fact it had the 5.0L V8 under the hood without any modifications. The $60,300 Lobo focuses on stance and appearance. With this $10,500 Whipple Supercharger, it now has the power to back up its visual attitude, but at a price. Ford claims the Lobo to be the perfect canvas for such an upgrade. But I also know that the $42,820 base regular cab pickup is also powered by the 5.0 and weighs much less than the crew-cab-only Lobo. Food for thought.

Power Without the Guesswork

While this is not an official package that will be marketed to the masses, those who know will know to ask at the dealership or order the parts online. With its added power, factory warranty, and lack of true competition, this may be the best thing to happen for modern performance trucks. Let’s just hope Ram, GM, and Toyota are paying attention.
