The Ram Trucks team announced June 23 that the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX is on sale now, with a starting price of $99,995. When the new TRX was introduced with 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque, many people dismissed the return of the Hellcat Hemi-powered pickup, insisting that it would cost more than the Ford F-150 Raptor R and have a price tag way over $100,000. Although the destination fee of $2,795 pushes the price over $100k, the new TRX is still over $10,000 less than the Ford F-150 Raptor R that packs substantially less horsepower and torque.
If you want to order a 2027 Ram 1500 TRX, you can do so today, but with the return of the supercharged Hemi being so heavily anticipated, you might have to put your name on a list. The first trucks are expected to arrive at dealerships “this summer.”
777 Horsepower; $102,790 Out the Door

The 2027 Ram 1500 TRX has a base MSRP of $99,995, which climbs up to $102,790 when you add the destination fee of $2,795. The most significant portion of the TRX package is the supercharged Hemi V8 under the hood, delivering 777 horsepower and 680 lb-ft of torque. All of that power is sent towards all four wheels by means of a heavy duty 8-speed automatic transmission and a high performance four-wheel-drive system. This drivetrain, coupled with 35-inch all-terrain tires, allows this big truck to rocket from a stop to 60 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds while a quarter mile drag strip run takes just 12.2 seconds. Even with the extra power (the previous TRX offered 702 horsepower), the 2027 TRX has an electronically limited top speed of 118 miles per hour, due to the speed rating of the off-road tires. If you really need to go faster in a half-ton truck, maybe the Rumble Bee SRT is for you.
Luxury Level Interior Comes Standard

In addition to the supercharged Hemi, the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX comes with a long list of standard premium interior features, including 12-way power front seats (heated, cooled and massaging), class-exclusive reclining rear seats (also heated and cooled), leather and suede surfaces with red accent stitching, red seat belts, carbon fiber trim, a 900-watt Harman Kardon premium audio system with 19 speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer, the 14.5-inch UConnect 5 infotainment screen, the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, a full-color Head-up Display (HUD), 360-degree surround-view camera system, and dual wireless charging pads.
On the outside, the 2027 Ram 1500 TRX features the unique, widened fenders and bedsides that are also in use on the Ram 1500 RHO. These unique body bits give the truck a menacing stance but more importantly, they leave plenty of room for those huge tires to move around when off-roading.
Ram 1500 TRX Bloodshot Night Edition Adds About $10k

If you want your 2027 Ram 1500 TRX to have a unique look, you can opt for the Bloodshot Night Edition package. For $9,995, this package adds a “bespoke, hand-painted Blacktop exterior upper in Diamond Black Crystal Pearl Coat with a custom-painted Flame Red center stripe”, a unique bodyside splash graphic, Red-trimmed interior TRX badging, a glass-encased TRX center console badge, unique carbon fiber with red anodized thread integrated into the weave pattern and a set of Satin Black beadlock capable wheels with Satin Titanium beadlock rings.
Beats Ford on Performance, Price

Even when you add the Bloodshot Night Edition, the $112,785 price tag of 2027 Ram 1500 TRX is lower than the base price of the Ford F-150 Raptor R at $113,725.
