AutoHunter Spotlight: 2006 Dodge Viper Copperhead Edition Coupe

Share

Currently listed for sale on AutoHunter is this 30,848-mile 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Copperhead Edition Coupe. This car’s presentation was inspired by the 1997 Dodge Copperhead concept, which also featured a special “Copperhead Orange” hue, making this Viper one of 51 built! Powering this Viper is an 8.3-liter V-10 backed by a six-speed manual. Features include air conditioning, power windows and locks, tilt steering column, custom sound system, and more! Finished with Viper Black stripes over a Black leather and Slate microfiber interior, this American supercar is offered by the selling dealer with shop manuals, a clean AutoCheck report, and title.

Of the 51 Copperhead Orange Satin SRT10s built for 2006, only 11 featured Viper Black stripes. Other features include side exhaust outlets, hood intake and vents, racing-inspired gas cap, and scalloped sides (for engine-bay and exhaust heat management). A set of factory polished 18-inch wheels is wrapped in staggered-width Michelin radials — 275/35 up front, 345/30 out back.

The cabin features bucket seats with Black leather and Slate microfiber upholstery with orange stitching. Other interior features include carbon fiber trim; center console with manual shifter; power accessories including steering, windows, and locks; air conditioning; and a custom sound system that includes an Audio Dynamics amp and subwoofer plus Kenwood AM/FM stereo with CD player and USB capability.

Instrumentation includes a 220-mph speedometer, 7,000-rpm tachometer, and gauges for the oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel. The odometer reads 30,848 miles, though the title reads mileage-exempt.

The fuel-injected 8.3-liter V-10 put out 510 horsepower and 535 lb-ft of torque when new. It is backed by a TREMEC T-56 six-speed manual.

The undercarriage features an Independent front and rear suspension, four-wheel power disc brakes with 14-inch rotors and Brembo four-piston calipers, and Dana Hydra-Lok speed-sensing limited-slip differential.

No one needs to be told that the Dodge Viper is awesome — all that’s needed is deciding whether you prefer the coupe or roadster. We have a hunch that the coupe is your bag, which makes the subject of this AutoHunter Spotlight right up your alley. Think about it: A special color with the added rarity of stripes on a car that can sprint to 60 in the 3-second range. Did you just say, “Sign me up!”? Well, we can’t do that, but you can place the high bid on this 2006 Dodge Viper SRT10 Copperhead Edition Coupe before Monday, July 6, 2026, at 1:45 p.m. (PDT) and make it yours.
