Hyundai Australia has announced the Palisade Calligraphy Black Ink will return to the local lineup with hybrid power, arriving in dealers this month priced from $92,400 before on-road costs.

The Calligraphy Black Ink returns with the new, second-generation Palisade, which launched in Australia in late 2025 with a longer wheelbase, greater cargo capacity and a local chassis tune for Hyundai’s flagship SUV.

Its $92,400 before on-road costs price is considerably higher than the previous-generation model, which was offered with petrol and diesel power for $78,400 and $81,719 before on-road costs, respectively.

The new Calligraphy Black Ink will sit above the entry-level Palisade Elite, priced from $76,500 before on-road costs, and the Calligraphy, priced from $89,828 before on-road costs.

The Black Ink follows the previous version by offering a host of dark-themed cosmetic changes for its $2572 premium over the regular Palisade Calligraphy.

This includes gloss black 21-inch alloy wheels, a ‘hot-stamped’ black front grille with a satin-black surround, black window surrounds, a satin-black lower bumper garnish, satin-black belt-line trim and black roof rails.

Exterior colour choice is limited to Abyss Black and Creamy White – both avoiding the $650 metallic paint charge – while the interior includes black metallic trim elements, Nappa leather upholstery, and an eight-seat configuration.
