As beautiful as nature is, camping is not for everyone. Some people would prefer to wake up in a comfortable bed and grab a cup of coffee before watching the sunrise hundreds of miles from power lines and paved roads. That’s why high-end overland RVs such as the Rugged Luxury Motors Land Yacht 30 exist.
Based on the Ford F-600 Chassis Cab dually, the Land Yacht 30 (as in “30 feet long”) combines extreme off-road capability with a comprehensive suite of indoor amenities. A Stryker Off Road Design suspension with front coilovers, eight-inch lift, and 38-inch tires gets this rig over tough terrain to breathtaking panoramic views.
Inside, the Land Yacht 30 functions as a high-end home away from home. Above the cab is a queen-size bed with a retractable shade. In the main part of the cabin, all the major areas and appliances are full-size, from the shower and the closet to the retractable 65-inch TV and the retro-style refrigerator. There’s even a composting toilet (translation: no black water tank to empty!) as well as a gun safe and a wine fridge. To maximize counter space in the kitchen, Rugged Luxury Motors installed a retractable set of knives, coffee machine, and dishwasher. When the going gets tough off-road, all the plates and silverware stay in place thanks to thoughtful storage solutions. The Land Yacht 30 shows that you can get away from it all while taking the comforts of home with you.
