The Hindustan Motor Ambassador needs no introduction. The Ambassador commands the supreme status in Indian Automotive History as one of the most iconic cars in India. But did you know? There exists a lesser-known Ambassador called Ambassador AVIGO. Launched in 2004 as a souped-up variant of the standard Amby, the Avigo has some quirky bells and whistles and a higher price tag to go with it. However, fate has different plans for the Amby and Hindustan Motors went belly up in late 2013.
