There are many things that separate some vintage vehicles from others. Looks always count for a lot. Certain parts of the country can rust cars out, so buying one from a dry climate is preferable. Long-term ownership is usually a good sign of the care a vehicle received. Garage-kept? Even better. Of course, every ride from yesteryear needs new parts from time to time, so updated hardware is a huge plus. Our Pick of the Day checks all those boxes. You can find this 1962 Chevrolet C10 listed on ClassicCars.com by a dealer in Anderson, California.

As a first-generation Chevy C/K truck, this ’62 C10 has a classically handsome design, which is made all the more noticeable by a yellow and white paint job that was applied within the past few years. That was laid over a rust-free body because, according to the selling dealer, this 65,517-mile truck has been in the gentle climate of California its entire life—45 years of which was with the same female owner, who always parked it in her garage. In the last 10 years, she updated many key parts:
- Battery: August 2025
- Brakes: May 2024
- Gas tank: 2015
- Venezia Classic 787 all-season whitewalls

No word on if the black vinyl upholstery is original but, either way, it’s in nice shape.

However, the 235ci inline-six is original and “runs smooth and strong,” delivering its power to the road through a four-speed manual gearbox.

On several levels, this 1962 Chevrolet C10 has a lot going for it. If you want it to go in your garage, be prepared to spend $21,995 to make that happen.
