Introduced in 2022, the Rolls-Royce Spectre has received its first mid-cycle refresh and a Series II suffix to denote the new version. The updated model recently made its public debut at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed.
We had a chance to check out the Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre Series II in person at the public debut, and here are the key observations we made:
Design

The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre Series II we saw was finished in the new Ethereal Blue paint. It featured red brake calipers, which felt out of place against the soft body color.
The overall exterior design remains unchanged. The Black Badge Spectre Series II continues to combine a stately presence with a sporty coupe silhouette, with an illuminated Pantheon grille, split headlamps, a long hood, rear-hinged coach doors, and jewel-like vertical taillamps being the highlights.

Not everything is carried over, though. Rolls-Royce has introduced new Iced Black accents on the Spirit of Ecstasy, Pantheon grille surround, bumper inserts, side-frame finishers, Double R Badge of Honour surrounds, and door handles.
Also new are the 23-inch forged wheels, featuring a seven-spoke structure and an Iced Matte Black finish. Rolls-Royce says this is the first time it has offered this finish on the wheels of a Black Badge model.
Interior

The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre Series II we saw featured Sage Duality Twill across the seat centers, headrests, and door panels. Made from bamboo-derived rayon, the fabric carries an embroidered pattern inspired by Rolls-Royce’s interlinked initials and gives the cabin a softer, more contemporary character.
Black leather, contrast piping, Technical Fibre trim, and the Infinity emblem between the rear seats reinforce the darker Black Badge theme. The green upholstery adds color without compromising the cabin’s restrained and luxurious appearance.
Series II also introduces a full-width Interior Panel and Clock Gallery, accompanied by a new Illuminated Fascia with 8,108 pixel-like lights. A redesigned aviation-inspired clock sits inside a vitrine that also displays an illuminated stainless-steel Spirit of Ecstasy figurine.

Specifications
The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre Series II, like its predecessor, is the brand’s most powerful car ever. It has the same rear-biased dual-motor AWD setup, but with even more power and torque.
Rolls-Royce has increased the total power from 485 kW (650 hp) to 500 kW (671 hp) and the total torque from 1,075 Nm (793 lb-ft) to 1,100 Nm (811 lb-ft). The previous tuning allowed the Black Badge Spectre to hit 0 to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds. The company has yet to reveal the Black Badge Spectre Series II’s acceleration time.

Thanks to “re-engineered battery cell technology,” the updated model can deliver up to 18% more WLTP range, reaching 390 miles, while reducing charging times by up to 14%. Rolls-Royce has transitioned from BMW Group’s fifth-gen prismatic cells to sixth-gen cylindrical cells.
Price
The Rolls-Royce Black Badge Spectre Series II will likely cost USD 450,000-500,000 before options in the U.S.
