For years, Chevrolet loyalists have watched from the sidelines as Ford and Ram waged a supercharged horsepower war. While the factory Chevrolet Silverado ZR2 is an undeniably capable off-roader, its naturally aspirated 420-horsepower V8 simply doesn’t pack the brute force needed to go toe-to-toe with the Raptor R or the TRX. Thankfully, the Texas-based tuning legends at Hennessey Performance are tired of waiting on GM.
Enter the all-new Hennessey GOLIATH 700 ZR2. By injecting the flagship Silverado with a heavy dose of supercharged American muscle and aggressive off-road hardware, Hennessey has created the ultimate bow-tie bruiser.
Supercharged V8 Dominance
To turn the standard ZR2 into a true Goliath, the Hennessey team straps a massive twin-screw supercharger to the factory 6.2-liter V8 engine. Paired with a high-flow air-to-water intercooler system and proprietary engine management calibration, the upgrades boost the truck’s output by a staggering 66 percent.
The result is a monstrous 700 horsepower and 611 lb-ft of torque. When you mash the throttle, the Goliath 700 will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in a blistering 4.2 seconds – absolutely crushing the stock ZR2’s sluggish 5.6-second time.
According to Hennessey President Alex Roys, the goal was to deliver “performance dominance and heaps of presence” for buyers who want an extreme truck without sacrificing daily usability. “We’ve created a truck with purpose that feels just as confident on the highway as it does tackling challenging terrain,” Roys noted in a press release.
Built for the Dirt
Adding nearly 300 horsepower to a pickup requires serious chassis upgrades to keep things grounded. Hennessey retained the ZR2’s brilliant factory Multimatic DSSV shocks but integrated them into a custom BDS suspension upgrade featuring heavy-duty upper control arms.
To make sure the truck looks as aggressive as it sounds, Hennessey swapped the factory rollers for 20-inch custom off-road wheels wrapped in meaty 35-inch all-terrain tires. The front and rear feature towering Goliath steel bumpers, complete with a massive 40-inch LED light bar and custom skid plates to protect the underbelly during hardcore trail runs.

Carbon Fiber Touches and Exclusivity

You can’t have a six-figure custom truck without some visual flair. Hennessey ditched the plastic factory hood insert for a fully functional, exposed carbon fiber hood applique designed to improve engine bay cooling. You’ll also find custom carbon fiber tailgate trim, stainless steel exhaust tips, electronic running boards, and serialized interior plaques.
Of course, building the ultimate supercharged Silverado isn’t cheap. The Hennessey GOLIATH 700 ZR2 carries an MSRP of $139,950. If you want one, you’ll have to act fast – the Texas tuner is capping production at an ultra-exclusive 100 units worldwide.
Fortunately, you don’t have to fly to Texas to get your hands on one. The Goliath 700 is available directly through Hennessey-authorized Chevrolet dealerships across the country, and every truck is backed by a solid three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty.
